Something to smile about :D We pretty much already knew that this cast considers itself a family but here’s an article that talks about that.

It turns out that David officiated at Melissa and Chris’s wedding. Yes, space dad married two of his adopted space kids.

Always better to watch characters being friends knowing the actors like each other too

It’s probably better for them too. It’s not necessary to like your coworkers to be able to work with them, it definitely helps but as long as everybody’s professional that’s fine. For actors if they genuinely like each other I imagine it frees up emotional energy if they don’t have to act like their friends on screen. That emotional energy can then be focused on other things. Probably the thing I like most about the crossovers is all the actors seem to like each other and that comes through.
